Moving On: Why I Left Etsy (and What’s Next!)
Why I Left Etsy After 12 Years
Etsy was a game-changer for handcrafted artists like me when it first started. It felt like a virtual Main Street where creators could connect with people who truly valued one-of-a-kind artistry. For 12 years, I was part of that story, sharing my handcrafted cowboy boot bags and rustic accessories with customers all over the world.
But over time, things changed. What was once a platform dedicated to unique, handmade items became crowded with mass-produced products and overwhelming rules just to be "found." It felt like my handcrafted creations were getting lost in the shuffle, and I knew it was time for a change.
A Fresh Start: Why I’m Going Independent
Leaving Etsy wasn’t an easy decision, but it was the right one. I want to focus on what matters most: creating one-of-a-kind, handcrafted designs and connecting directly with you. No middlemen, no distractions—just me and my artistry, delivered straight to your door.
By moving entirely to my own website, I can:
-
Offer you a better shopping experience.
-
Share exclusive designs and collections.
-
Stay true to the heart of my craft without outside interference.
